Questions
Are these LUTs free for commercial use?
Yes. EditorHub Originals, Community picks and Surprise LUTs are CC0, and the film emulation LUTs come from the MIT-licensed Film-Luts collection, so all of them can be used in paid and monetised work.
Do these LUTs work in DaVinci Resolve?
Yes, they are standard .cube files. Copy one into Resolve's LUT folder (Project Settings → Color Management → Open LUT Folder), refresh the list and apply it to a node.
How do I add a .cube LUT in Premiere Pro or Final Cut?
In Premiere Pro, go to Lumetri Color → Creative → Look → Browse and pick the .cube. In Final Cut Pro, add the Custom LUT effect and choose the file.
Can I apply a .cube LUT online?
You can preview any LUT in this library on a sample frame or your own still image, with an intensity slider, right in the browser. It doesn't grade video or load your own .cube files, so download the LUT and apply it in your editor for the final grade.
Is my frame uploaded when I preview a LUT?
No. The preview is graded on a canvas in your browser, so a frame you paste or drop never leaves your device.
Which LUT gives the classic teal and orange movie look?
Try Kodak 2383, the Hollywood cinema print stock, or Blockbuster from the EditorHub Originals. Teal Rec709 is a cleaner take for ordinary Rec709 footage.
What is a Surprise LUT?
A one-of-a-kind look generated in your browser when you click Surprise me. It gets its own shareable link and downloads as a normal .cube, free under CC0.
