Questions, answered

Is Editor Hub really free?

Yes — every tool and the whole media library are free, with no watermarks, trials or usage caps designed to upsell you. The project is supported by donations.

Do my files get uploaded anywhere?

Most tools run entirely in your browser, so your files never leave your device. The two exceptions — cutting a YouTube clip and downloading a video — are processed on our server, and the resulting file is auto-deleted about an hour later.

Can I use the music, stock and LUTs in monetised videos?

Yes. Every track, clip and LUT shows its licence; most require nothing, some ask for a one-line credit you can copy in a click. Our own EditorHub Originals LUTs are CC0 — use them anywhere.

Do I need an account?

No. There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no paywalled features — open a tool and use it.

What's the catch?

There isn't one. Editor Hub is an independent, privacy-first project built for editors — if it saves you time, that's the whole point.

What is Editor Hub?

Editor Hub is a free toolbox for video creators: nine in-browser tools to cut YouTube clips, convert files, remove backgrounds and more — plus free media with licences you can actually trust: music & sound effects, stock photos, footage and GIFs, and cinematic LUTs with live preview.

Everything runs in your browser: no signup, no watermarks, and your files never leave your device. Built for YouTubers, editors and streamers who'd rather make things than manage subscriptions. More about the project →
