Terms & Acceptable Use

By using Editor Hub you agree to these terms. They're meant to be plain and fair — use the tools responsibly and for content you're allowed to use.

The service

Editor Hub provides free creator tools. Most run entirely in your browser; some (clipping a YouTube video, downloading a video from a link) are processed on our server and the resulting file is kept only briefly before it's automatically deleted. The tools are provided "as is," and we may change, limit, or discontinue any of them at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Editor Hub to:

  • process or download content you don't own or have permission to use;
  • infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, or other rights;
  • break the law, or any third-party platform's terms of service;
  • upload or create unlawful, harmful, or abusive material;
  • overload, scrape, or abuse the service, or circumvent its limits or security.

Your content is your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the links you submit and the files you produce, and for making sure you have the rights to use them. Downloading or clipping video may be restricted by a platform's terms and by copyright law — only do it for content you own or are permitted to use. Editor Hub is a tool; how you use it is up to you.

Your representations

By using Editor Hub you represent and warrant that: you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or have a parent/guardian's consent); you will comply with all applicable laws and with the terms of any third-party platform you fetch content from; and you have all the rights, licences, and permissions needed for any content you process or download.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Editor Hub and its operators from and against any claims, demands, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the tools, the content you process or download with them, or your breach of these terms or of any third-party right or platform's terms of service.

Trademarks & affiliation

Editor Hub is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, TikTok, X (Twitter), Vimeo, Reddit, VK, Facebook, or any other platform. All product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the services these tools work with.

No warranty & limitation of liability

The service is provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Editor Hub and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the tools or from content you process with them, and you agree to use them at your own risk.

Reporting abuse or a copyright concern

If you believe content was processed through Editor Hub in violation of these terms or your rights, contact us at support@editor-hub.com with details (the link or file, the issue, and your contact information). Because produced files are stored only briefly and then deleted, they usually aren't retained, but we'll review and act on valid reports.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. See also our Privacy page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
